Talented enchantress or absolute bwitch? You decide!

Isis
Second child of Geb and Nut, Goddess of Magic, Wives and Motherhood. Husband of Osiris and mother of Horus.
Isis isss.... an interesting case, to put it mildly. On one hand, she is one of the most talented spellcasters in the pantheon, her knowledge of magic is a sight to behold. She had been a good Queen by her husband's side, (mostly) righteous and wise in rule. She had been the backbone of Osiris, and to this day her loyalty to him is absolute, no matter the circumstances. Her accomplishments are numerous, and the incredible feats she has achieved despite all odds during her flight from Seth's terror demands recognition and applaud. She is a caring mother who would (and did) sacrifice anything to keep her only child, Horus safe and bring him to victory. She even welcomed and took care of Anubis, Nephthys' son and loved him as her own, for as long as she could. Her bravery and intelligence are to be respected.
On the other hand however... Isis is a manipulative, ambitious witch whose hunger for power knows little to no bounds. She is almost always malcontent with what she has, and capable of pretty much anything to move her, her husband and her son forward. Woe are those whom she hates, be it for a reason or not, as she tends to make their lives miserable in every possible way, given enough time. She cares little about the consequences of her actions, if they do not affect her family (right away, at least. Right, Osiris?). She holds grudges to the bitter end and she is paranoid. She also derives an almost sadistic joy from making her enemies suffer and driving them into the ground... something Ra could tell you all about (if he doesn't blast you out of existence first).
This highly volatile nature of hers earned her quite a few interesting relationships with the other gods. Her status as Queen gives her leverage, and she does have friends and allies among the gods, despite all that she has done. However those, whose lives were utterly flipped upside down or even destroyed completely, absolutely loath her and her ambition. Upon the question "who has the worst relationship ever?", people tend to point to Horus and Seth, when the truth is, that conflict pales in comparition to that of Isis and Ra. As a result, she is not on the best of terms with his children, either: Sekhmet, Serqet, Bastet, Shu, Tefnut and even Hathor. While the young cow goddess is thankfully mostly spared of Isis' wrath (due to her age and friendship with Horus), she is still not off the table of suspicion.
While Isis had been a terrible sister to Seth (as her orderly nature could not stand the god's wild emotions), she was kind and helpful to both Osiris and Nephthys when they were children. Even to this day, she and her sister have a healthy relationship, despite Nephthys' extreme change in personality. Isis loves her son with ever fiber of her being, and she keeps watching over him and supporting him however she can.

Okay, guys, I have a confession to make. Isis will be the hardest character to put together and show in the story. I'm calling it now, and I'm damn fucking sure it will be true. Why?!
You see, when I've first started learning about this mythology, I was blown away by her. All the crazy awesome shit she has done, defying the evil Seth in every step, saving her husband's spirit, all the while bringing up her son to be a great warrior. She was amazing, a borderline role-modell! Then I got older, discovered more and more details of the story, and finally stumbled upon the story about Ra's True Name. When I've read it, I was like "Wait a minute hold the fuck up, WHAT?! Did Isis just...?!!" Yes, yes she did. She literally fucked over the Sun god, the one who makes everything happen basically, just so she could have his throne for Osiris. After that, I've noticed other things: her greed, her ambition, the fact that she basically shaped a weapon of vengeance out of her son which she could use against Seth, her tendency to curse and even kill mortals who weren't to her liking...
I'm saying this out loud: Isis is probably my most hated goddess out there. I have always, always loathed treason, especially from supposedly good guys (khmkhm Tassadar in SC1 khmkhm), and not only did she betray Ra and everyone else connected to him, she also betrayed me in the process!
And this is why she will be the hardest to make. Not gonna lie, the concept of making her into an outright villain is tempting, oh so fucking tempting, but I don't want that, I want her to stay on the "good" side in the story (for reasons I cannot say cuz spoilers and stuff). However, making her a believable, hell even relatable character will be an absolute chore for me, simply because of my hate for her.

As things are now, she is the last of the "more detailed" concept arts coming. There are a few more planned but those will be presented on one or two sheet later, as they are only supporting characters (at least right now in development).
