Card illustration that I made for Star Wars Galaxies TCG (Set 8)Since this is a high profile card, I was afraid that I would face shitloads of revisions fron Lucasart but my first rough did get approved just like that
Note: I used my 12" figure as reference.

Darth Sidious, Dark Lord of the Sith - first and last true Galactic Emperor of the evil empire.
Widely regarded as the most powerful Sith Lord in all of history - and had Darth Vader reached his full potential, he would have become twice as strong as Sidious. Nevertheless, the old man was unrivaled in his cunning, and in fighting skill - very few, save Yoda, Mace Windu, Galen Marek and Luke Skywalker, could truly best him.
Even so, he ends up getting killed for good by Han Solo.

Just when Palpatine focussed on how to find the next tool and apprentice he could use... and a little boy appeared before his eyes... and he envisioned himself abducting the kid... he suddenly steps back in shock for the creature that suddenly appeared before him.
And made clear this little boy would not his to get.
Palpatine opened his eyes in disgust on his throne.

By far one of my favorite pictures by anyone, ever. Luis Royo was my favorite artist for years, the Hildebrandt Brothers, Jim Lee, Victoria Francis, Michael Bird and Ron Spencer were all up there as well... but after viewing your portfolio here... you are hands down my favorite artist.
