Description With 13 days left until Halloween, without further ado, here's a meme of my Top Halloween Movies and TV Specials.

#10.) Will Venton's Claymation Halloween: I like the unique claymation stlye of this special and it did had some funny moments in it.
It may not be as good as "Claymation Christmas," but still doesn't mean this movie should not be included on the meme. Right?

#09.) Fat Albert's Halloween Special: What makes this special unique is that it starts off with the Junkyard Gang wanting to go out trick-or-treating, until they met this mean-looking old lady, who a lot of people rumored that she is actually a monster and lives in a haunted house.

To check out for themselves if the rumors were true, a friend of Rudy's dares them to go into the old lady's house and try to come out alive in one piece.

But later, it turns out that the rumors weren't true, and the old woman was actually nice and missed having company at her house since her husband died.

#08.) The Tiny Toon Halloween Specials Night Ghoulies 1& 2, and Toons From the Crypt:
All three of these specials deserve to be together in one spot because I like them all equally.
The Night Ghouly Specials gives us both threats and laughs on each horror film they parodized.

As for "Toons From The Crypt," it's a nice homage to "Tales From The Crypt" (which scared the crap out of me when I was 3 ), and ironically, Buster Bunny was later voiced by John Kassir, who was the voice of the Crypt-Keeper himself.

Though seeing Buster looking like the Crypt-Keeper really freaks me out.

#07.) Spongebob Halloween Special "Scardy Pants": I always look forward to see this episode of Spongebob every Halloween because

1. It's from the the days back when Spongebob was fresh, new, and hilarious
2. It was the first Spongebob Special I've seen
3. It still makes me laugh whether it's the original short, the speed-up version, or the edited version.

#06.) The Halloweentown movies: One of the only good Halloween movies they still show on Disney Channel in October.

Though I like 1 & 2 the best, and the 4th one was my least favorite.

#05.) Hocus Pocus: Same reasons eveybody else who like this movie.

#04.) (tie) Scary Godmother Spooktacular Party & Revenge of Jimmy: Both great CGI animated movies with a great cast of characters and voice-actors.

#03.) The Rocko's Modern Life Halloween Double-feature:
Together, both "Sugar-Frosted Frights" & "Ed is Dead" made a really great episode of RML as well as a memorable Halloween special.
With homages to "Night of Bog Mountain," "Kill Bill," "The Man Who Knew Too Much," and the opening of Alfred Hicthcock's horror show, you can't go wrong with this treat for that time of the year.

#02.) "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown": Who doesn't remember this classic special?
Though like everybody else, I felt sorry for both Linus and Charlie Brown.
Linus spend all-night in the pumpkin patch and missed the party & trick-or-treating just to wait for the Great Pumpkin; And Charlie Brown got a bag full of rocks.

On the positive side, after that special, a lot people send over a million peices of candy to Charlie Brown, and wrote letters to Linus that say they believe in the Great Pumpkin as well.

#01.) The Nightmare Before Christmas: I think the fans of this cult-classic already got it covered about why this movie is so great.

Honorable mentions:
*The Halloween Tree
*Rugrats Halloween special
*Aah! Real Monsters: "Monster's Night Out"
*"On Leather Wings" & "Nothing to Fear" (not exactaly Halloween specials of Batman the Animated Series, but they are both really episodes to watch during Halloween )
*Alvin & the Chipmunks Meet Frankestain
*Alvin & the Chipmunks Meet The Wolfman
*Young Frankenstain
*Garfield's Halloween Special
*Scooby-Doo cartoons and animated movies
*Shrek Halloween Specials
*Monsters vs. Aliens Halloween special
*Frankenweenie (1989 & 2012 versions)
*Under Wraps
Etc.

You don't like my plot at all, do you?

ToonFanJoey [2013-10-13 19:26:04 +0000 UTC]

I hated the Sneezer the Sneezing Ghost segment, didn't you?

If there would be any Halloween episode starring Furrball, this is how I would do it:

Instead of a parody, it'd be taking place in the actual Acme Loo setting

Plot: Furrball hates Halloween, because every year, almost anyone in Acme Acres plays a trick on him, on account of he's the easiest toon to scare in Acme Acres (and they overlook the fact that he's an unlucky toon there, and that he's homeless). Tired of it, he decides to scare everyone back for scaring him at an Acme Looniversity Halloween party. With the aid of Gogo, Shirley and Calamity, he becomes a scary monsterous version of himself, thanks to a combination of Shirley's magic and one of Calamity's scientific devices. However, there is an unexpected catch: by Midnight, the spell consumes his soul to become a full monster, bent on detsroying Acme Acres and everyone in it (especially the ones who bullied him and/or the ones who scared him each Halloween). So Gogo, Shirley and Calamity must find a way to change Furrball back before Midnight, and everyone, now feeling guilty about mistreating and scaring Furrball, they must find him and apologize to him.

So what do you think?

KessieLou In reply to ToonFanJoey [2013-10-14 00:37:36 +0000 UTC]

Actually here's another, and it's part of a Halloween special.

Main plot: Acme Loonaveristy is have a Horror film festival, with a triple feature of the Top 3 student-made videos. And Furball's film is one of them.

*"Snooze Away Camp"- Furball's take on "Sleep Away Camp" with him playing the role of Angela (minus the disturbing ending when they reveal that Angela is actually a boy named Peter, who dresses up as a girl because his aunt is very sexist).

Like the plot of the original movie, the Tiny Toons go to a summer camp and mysterious murders have accrued to some of campers and councilors.

The murdered victims are:

Sweetie

Arnold

Elmyra

Montana Max

The main 4 Perfecto Prep students

Why?

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

ToonFanJoey In reply to KessieLou [2013-10-02 02:47:19 +0000 UTC]

Perhaps you forget it's the one where Furrball dies and never makes another appearance thanks to those inconsiderate back-stabbers Spielburg and Ruegger, who don't even think about the homeless kid

I know he's a cartoon, but that's still no excuse, after all he's been through and that's how it all ends for him?!

Unless those stubborn jack-a**es at Warner Bros actually make a Tiny Toons reboot to confirm that Furrball is alive in the cartoon world or not, instead of giving us unneccesary rubbish like ADVENTURE TIME, GUMBALL AND UNCLE GRANDPA!!!

I'm actually suprised that you didn't add in the classic horror films (like Dracula, fraekenstien, and that old stuff)

Hocus Pocus was awesome! But it never scared me at all as a kid, I always found it more funny than scary

Lol the Tales of the crypt parody of tiny toons made me laugh... Though I've seen that show at a friend's house. It wasn't really scary, it was more humorous with some gore is all.

Halloweentown was always my favourite! But whenever I saw the 3rd movie that's when I started disliking Halloweentown.
