Description (Edited to fix his mouth)

I'd like you to meet Ephraim. He's a new OC I've been planning for a while for Infinity Gate. I've had his story mapped out for a while, and some idea's about his character, but I wasn't sure what he was going to look like until I saw this.
*blackbehemot kindly let me borrow this drawing, and the look of this guy for creating Ephraim. I tried my own version of him as a courtesan but I didn't like how it turned out at all. This is a drawing of Ephraim later on in his story.

Ephraim was born to a very, very poor family on Fho Colony. He's got 5 brothers and 3 sisters. The entire family was expected to work from the time they were tiny to help support the family, but Ephraim had a very difficult time of it due to an undiagnosed heart problem. Ephraim was treated very poorly by his family for being weak and sickly. When the opportunity arose for him to escape that life, Ephraim took it, even though it meant indenturing himself as a courtesan.

Gotta love his eyes. If his mouth would be more ... well, the corner moving upwards a bit more, not sure how to say it, I'd call his facial expression a seductive smirk. I think this is one of your best drawings, because Ephraim, despite having a female Geisha's hair style, still looks manly.

It's supposed to be just shy of a seductive smirk. So that sounds just about right to me, hehe. Plus, I'd totally messed his mouth up, and had to fix it, so if it at least doesn't look like duck lips now, I'm happy.

I hope he will. He's going to play a very important role in Moonfeahr's story, so I really wanted him to be special in his own right. I'm happy with how his character is developing.

Yet another brilliant drawing from you, I love the way your drew his hair, it looks as if it flows with the wind. The face shading is top notch and so is his expression. The only thing that makes me giggle is no matter how I look at his mouth, it instantly reminds of "duck face". I just can't get rid of this thought from my head now lol.

Ah, his mouth...I'd moved his cheek out at the last second, and I didn't adjust his mouth to match, so it not only looked crooked, but the shading all around it had subtly changed leaving it...blech. I tried to fix it last night. It's not perfect, but it looks better now I think...though it still scanned a little funny. *sigh*

His hair!! It was sooo much fun, and I'm really enjoying my new hair method. Too much fun!!

Thanks! I had a lot of fun with his hair. I need to fix the shading around his mouth though, it scanned funny, and ended up looking crooked instead of like he is pulling the wry smile I planned. If I tweak it a little more, it should look better.
