This is *WingedGenesis5 's OC Phyre*WingedGenesis5 got the closest to my Kiriban.
Only one off, aaaaaannnnddd, she drew this for me of Lord Arren! Isn't that gorgeous?? So this is a Kiriban/AT, hehe. *WingedGenesis5 I hope you like this! I might try drawing him from a different angle another time, but I found the bone structure of his face rather challenging, so I decided to interpret him this way first, so that I could really get a handle on it. Such a wonderful character! He really was fun to draw!

Very nice work! You're becoming an expert at drawing elf characters, his hair is nicely shaded and the marks on his face are definitely a nice touch. You've converted the original picture into realistic piece - that's the beauty of traditional art, well done

I totally wasn't planning to copy so exactly the pose of the original, but well...those ridges...I'm afraid I was having trouble visualizing them proper. I still want to draw him from a different angle sometime, because he was a lot of fun to draw! Facial ridges are HARD! Hehe.

(I did work on yours this weekend by the way, I just ran into another snag, and so set it aside and worked on something else while I tried to figure out what I'd done wrong. Think I have it figured now, so I should be able to fix tonight, and keep working on shading, phew!

I got some more done. Atuki's face is mostly shaded and detailed now, but I need to tweak it some more to fix it. Thought I had it even, but I guess it's still crooked. Argh! Hehe. Who would have guessed he'd be the difficult one that didn't want to let me draw him?

But that's just typical~ He seems all smiles and yeses - and then when it comes down to it, he's really headstrong and difficult to deal with.

What was most challenging part?

Definitely shading the ridges. I worked, and reworked, and reworked those trying to get them to look natural.

Oh! I see! Now that you say it... is the first character that you draw with ridges, right? I understand why was a challenge

Yeah, I've never attempted something like that. It was interesting to try and figure out how they would distort the skin, and cause shadows.
