I attended a conference today with a bunch of really boring speakers. The material is interesting, but what is with engineers not knowing how to make the presentation exciting or engaging? During one of the breaks I found this paper in a recycling bin and took it with me. When I sat down the engineer next to me (been in the business 30 years or something like that) made the mistake of asking how much I could really do with one sheet of paper. So I, of course, took this as a challenge and here is the result;

The Blade Runner Unicorn
Hyperbolic Paraboloid

Llama
2 Proper Cranes
1 Flapping Crane
Duck
Star (you'll have to take my word that the tiny little dot is a star. I do know how to fold them, and I know this is the first one I'm posting and not all that convincing, but it is. Just had the length/width ratio off so it came out too think.)

Yup. All that from one A4 piece of printer paper. Shut him up good, lemme tell you that!

And I'm posting this because it's been a bad night otherwise. Tried Kamiya's Unicorn and failed. Tried his Bahamut and failed. Just a bad night. had to scrap two sheets.
