Thanks, about the background...If I had another chance to take these pictures, there is one detail I would have taken care of before putting the praying mantis in the plastic box.
I would have cleaned it out.
The dust on the poor things feet is distracting, and I can't see it being good for it.
Not to mention it's an indication that I am not the best housekeeper.
I see the dust, and it makes me feel shame.

haha it happens to the best of us, our camera's pick up everythiing....lol
I didn't notice, infact all i can see is the scratches of the plastic tub now you
mentioned it I would not of known what it was other wise...
and even that adds to the effect of the photos like he is walking on ice...
and i see one bit of fluff on close up, could you not fine edit it? even for your own
piece of mind?

Wouldn't know how...I don't have photoshop, nor would I know how to use it if I did.

Nor do I but I use a program called gimp don't
do what PS does, but I am using it to edit old scanned
photos to take the scratches out...
you could do small minor things like dust just zoom in on an
area you don't want and blend it in with the photos surrounding area.
A friend got me on it and I have got a few others on it...its good, and you
can search you tube for videos tutorials
