Read the rest of "I'm My Own Mascot" hereYeah, so I've been an anime fan (in a convention-attending capacity) since 1995. I fell out of it in recent years so I posted a poll to see what you crazy kids were into these days. After reading the responses, I had to google some of the titles to make sure you weren't pulling my leg. I drew this comic as a result.
What am I watching these days? At the moment, I'm loving Hetalia...and I'm only slightly ashamed to admit it.

Lol nope they are legit titles and sometimes people don't refer to them in a English translation. I've heard Rozen Maiden is pretty good. The Isekai no seikishi ect is just another spin off/ extension of tenchi muyo and I find all of them except maybe the first 3 lacking. Higurashi when they cry or as I like to call it "Those Crazy Higurashi bitches" is supposed to be a really gruesome and morbid type of show that I never got into cuz I kinda got the gist of it from some amvs I came across that showed these girls killing each other and themselves, so I was good without. Kuroshitsuji also known as Black Butler is a pretty good series from the bit I read of the manga and I haven't seen much of the anime but the animation looked nice. Kamikazi Kaito Jeanne is a great manga to read but I haven't seen the anime; it's got magical transforming thieves and tiny angels acting on behalf or against God. I honestly don't know what Mahojin guru guru is. Durarara is a fairly popular one that has aired on Cartoon Network's adult swim or more currently the Toonami that has been brought back it's a bit strange as there's a centuries old woman walking about without her head and trying to find it though somehow it got attached to another girl's (dead?) body. There's also some stuff about gangs and turf wars but I never got that into it. Β Bobobo- bo bo-bobo is a very silly series that was about a war on or for hair if I remember right and the protagonist was a tall buff black guy with a big blond afro, cool sunglasses, and tended to fight with his nose hairs. It was also a series that aired on cartoon network for awhile like a decade ago. And lastly according to Google Shiomakuzen isn't a real thing. So either she made that one up or you did.

Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo has to be the weirdest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life. I don't dislike it either... but I have absolutely noΒ damn clue about anything going on in it

I knew that Rozen Maiden had its anime (read a few manga books only) but i would highly recommend Durarara!! (there is a HUGE fanbase for a certain noncannon pair that i will admit i am a part of (go Shizaya!)). My friends got me into Soul Eater and i am finally getting into Naruto now that Toonami put it on. but if you're into blood and violence go for Deadman Wonderland (super awesome, i really hope they come out with a second season). another good one i can think of is Cashern Sins the distruction of humanity (not sure if thats the full and actual title though). But yeah hetalia is really awesom - and i think they just came out with their 5th season, just not sure which language though...... i wrote too much didn't i?
