Whenever I get the chance to "redesign" Wanda, I never deviate much, and certainly not from her signature red. She is the Scarlet Witch, after all. Definitely tried to pull more from her Romani upbringing with this one, and give more context to that "Marvel crown" look that literally came in every shade and adorned so many superheroines back in the day. What was up with that look? Super happy with the composition on this one. And always happy to give a slightly darker, more realistic spin on a super being. Let me know what you think!

This is very cool considering that in the beginning she was technically a princess, with Magneto as king of Genosha and all that. So the Norwegian princess vibes are just profound.

This is one of the coolest Wanda designs I've ever seen. Love that she is barefoot and void of ridiculous cleavage. Nice realistic proportions too! I am SO TIRED of stupidly long legs on female characters. This is a nice fresh breath of air!

really really awesome. Would have rathered you darkened her skintone a little though since she IS Romani and people forget that, she is often shown as slightly brown'd in the comics.

Your redesigns are epic, and made even more so because they are done traditionally. This is one of my favorites alongside your nouveau Peter Pan. I wonder, how would you redesign Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty?

nice, but her legs seem too short to me, and not only compared to superheroes proportions, but in relation to the lenght of her arms. I like the idea of giving her a more realistic body, but I do think that a few more inches on her legs would do her good.
apart from that I really like her costume!

I love the similar theme the dress, head crown, and earrings share, it's gorgeous. The footwraps are also so amazing. I like the way you turned the head crown into more of a separate piece of jewelry. Totally love the Scarlet Witch (I love her sons even more), and your interpretation is really stunning.

I totally agree! In general, I tend to draw shorter legs on my figures unless I'm making a conscious effort not to. Something I need to work on. At least in this image, it does come across a bit more "realisticly figured" as opposed to "superhero proportioned"
