Ok...Now THIS is my last Polaroid 55 4x5
I thought I had shot my last one years ago since Polaroid went belly up and discontinued the most beautiful film on earth
The remaining sheets I thought were dead. One right after the other dead. It's not the film itself that goes, it's the chemistry that dries up
failing to develop it.
A photographer I knew was selling his last boxes now 4 years out of date.
He gave me three sheets to test. All duds.
But I had one from a previous box, which had also produced a line of dead soldiers
but on whim I decided to shoot it.
And this was it.
The last surviving chemicals produced the image in a random smear;
the white is what was left untouched and lost
in the most poetic way...

Magnificent capture. The way the depleting chemicals react really adds to the appeal. Fascinating! Fuji still do seem to produce 4x5 sheets, don't they?

Thank you....They sell some print only materials, namely 3x5, but nothing producing producing a negative....
