If you don't mind my asking, did you make this from scratch? Or is it a photograph that was manipulated? I don't know much about digital art.

It's a 3D model, so it's made from scratch. It's not painted or drawn, they've used a 3D program to create the model, as they do with games and films like Up.

It's shit in bottle :

In weight about
Fat 60% (most from bad saturated palme oil a very little from the nuts)
Sugar 30%
10% from cocoa and nut (the not oily not sugar part)

And its totally fine if you're not a lazyass who won't work off what you've decided is too tasty to pass up.

And you're totally wrong, it's not a caloric content matter.
Palm oil is bad for health as it's full of saturated fat (50%) ideal for clogging your artery.
Compare with colza oil witch contain only 8% of saturated fat.

Next time you eat this or everything that is make with oil palm just think 1 spoon of palm oil is as bad as 6.25 of colza one.

You cannot generalize that. Every person is different. Why do you think most meds have a side effect list as long as my arm? Because different people react differently.

I will give you an example, too. My Dad used to have problems with his blood collesterol levels. Even though he wasn't overweight, they were still high. Way above normal. So, the doctor suggested he cut out all fatty foods for a month to see what happens. And he did. He ended up so misserable that you couldn't stand being around him. When he went back for the follow up test, guess what? Nothing had changed. And they came to the conclusion that for his body the levels must be normal. He's in his mid sixties now and fitter than most people half his age I know and does regular 80 mile bicycle tours etc.

One week they write about eggs being bad. Next week chcolate is a killer. The week after you can't eat something else, because it's supposedly harmfull. It's positively idiotic. Sure, certain things are bad for you, but it's not about what you eat, it's about how much of something you eat. A glass of wine a day is a good thing. 10 bottles of wine aren't.

I used to weigh somewhere between 300 and 400 lbs. I lost half that in 2 years. How? Simple. Walking, cycling and reducing the amount of food. I don't eat fast foods or frozen ready meals or whatever, but otherwise I'm game for everything - in moderation. I now walk between 4 and 5 miles a day on average. Also this idiocy about saturated and unsaturated fats; while it's certainly not wrong, it's also a nice way to get people to buy overpriced 'health foods'. You know who knows best what to eat? Your body. If you crave something sweet, then you're low on sugar. If you crave something salty, well; you get the picture.

Oh and something else. Even when I was at my heaviest, I still consistently had very low blood sugar. I even surprised doctors with my overall blood test results. But hey, wasn't that what I was saying in the first place? Everybody is different...

For sure every peoples are different, some can drink 4 bottle of wine a day and never get liver failure, other smoke 60 cigarette a day and never have lungs problems, but you can't take a single sample to said "you can't generalize"
Yes I can statically link some fact to some effect.
Eating saturated fat won't clog your artery but for sure it's increase the luck for it to happen.
The same for body fat and blood's sugar level. Type II diabetes increase with BMI it's a statistical fact, and it's not because you find an exception that it make the statement wrong.

overseer In reply to lalapubpub [2012-10-01 22:56:22 +0000 UTC]

All I was trying to say is that people can eat whatever they like in moderation and providing it agrees with them. Sure, some foods are linked to certain illnesses, no question, but if you have an active life style and feel good, there shouldn't be a problem.

To get back to the subject; there are faaar worse foods (and specifically sweet foods) than Nutella.

in-the-dead-pixel In reply to lalapubpub [2012-10-01 21:38:38 +0000 UTC]

Funny that, I can eat a couple of spoons of this a day, and I'm fine. If I were to eat a donut per day, I'd gain 10 lbs a month, doing the same activities, So I'm not sure how accurate your 'facts' are on this.

Most processed foods aren't 'bad' for you, in moderation. It only takes responsibility to be able to eat such foods, in limitations set for your body's type, without negative consequences.

I've grown up with retardedly slow metabolism, I've been through the entire 'eat all the junk I wanna' and gained a considerable amount of fat for it. I have also worked it all off, and due to my activities, I've kept it off, not mattering what I eat, as long as I don't gorge myself stupid with it.

oops I make a mistake switching fat and sugar so Sugar 60% Fat 30% (most from bad saturated palme oil a very little from the nuts)10% from cocoa and nut (the not oily not sugar part)

But it's Fun to see how you totally stick to the food industries arguments. Just take in consideration that these arguments are close to what the tobacco one said in the past.

You can smoke and be very healthly at a time, smoking is great and make you feel better.
The side effect only appears years later.

Eating saturated fat is bad for health 1oz of unsaturated fat give you an amount of energy, 1 oz of saturated fat give you the same amount of energy but increase your cholesterol at the same time.

Strangely palm oil was never used in traditional cooking (ie at home) but is widely use by the food industrie because of its low price.

This apply not only to nutella but to every processed food that is include lots of saturated fat.

about 80% of the food we (my husband and I) eat, is made from scratch, and the typical ingredients found in most 'made' foods, we use whole-wheat flour (rather than bleached white), brown sugar/cane sugar (rather than typical white sugars), whole wheat/veggie/egg pasta, brown/unbleached rice (when we can afford it), non-corn-syrup syrup (cuz pancakes!), and for pancakes: long-time family recipe of non-corn-syrup based berry yogurts, with cranberries and apples added into the batter = epic pancakes!

We have about 1 diet soda each every two weeks or more, drink soy, tea and make real fruit smoothies every evening

With all of the healthy foods we eat, I allow myself the one non-healthy food ^_^

I also give you kudos for admitting to a wrong - that takes balls on the net!

Guess what? I don't give a crap. I eat Nutella almost everyday and yet, I am still very healthy compared to most people my age.

Also, let people eat whatever the hell they like. It's their life, not yours.

Not that I'm agreeing with lalapubpub, but a clogged artery isn't something you usually see coming. You may think you're healthy and suddenly die from a clot. Also, I'm all for letting people do what they want to with their lives, but I'm also all for educating people so that they can make wise decisions in their life. People don't have to learn through making mistakes anymore, there are ways of sharing information to prevent mistakes now. If someone wants to make a bad decision whilst knowing all the facts, then go for it.
Have a nice day.
