That thing must have very clean nails if you can see the finger under it. I really like the perspective of this, a part of me thinks it may look better if you couldn't see the figure and all that was visible is it's hand. I'm not sure, I think just seeing how simple and human this thing is emerging from some black abyss, I'd like to imagine a more freighting monstrosity. That's just me. Also, I really like the messy crosshatching that surrounds it. It looks like this was a lot of fun to draw.
