xD Feathers are amazing, and they bring nice texture into a character.

I used to have a sparkle wolf with wings. I soon erased it from existence. But I was 12. I'd say I've learned from my mistakes. xD
But this one girl in my creative writing class told me about the novella she's writing for that class and the main character is a white wolf with blue eyes and lives in Japan. xD My friend and I were trying to give her suggestions to improve her characters but she didn't really take them seriously because she likes the characters as they are. :\ I gave up when I heard that cuz if I nitpick a story, it means I care. I would not waste my breath nitpicking something that I know the author won't ever fix. *COUGHjamespattersonCOUGH* - I only nitpick him to show how terrible the writing is, and I don't care whose opinions I run over. :\

Awww cute! I'm grounded in fantasy and magical realism. Love it~
Well, I can see how some authors have their character set and it works and other people suggesting changes is annoying to them (besides, they do have the final say anyways) but at the same time, if it's a really shallow story that isn't meant for kids then yeah, I'd say an ignorant writer is not all that fun. A good character should have depth - unless there's a reason in form or content for it.
Eh, I've only read Patterson's Max stories. The Lake House I think and one or two others. That was a while ago though.
