It's been a while since I done something serious.Been stuck with this one for quite a while, o well, I think I gotta move on, so here is where I stop.
Was try to get those oil painting look, renaissance period kind of artwork lighting as well as feel. But I got an early wip review from my bro said it looks like Indian painting instead...
Anyway get the story? haha...
Started off with a doodle of owl, then the man come, and slowly the tiger came, then the snake, after that the rabbit, the kid, narwhale, red panda and finally polar bear. I forgot when are those 2 cats came in. haha...

It's probably that I'm sleepy, but I've been staring at this for quite a bit now and honestly, I cannot seem to find the mentioned Narwhal. Anyone want to point it out for me, please?

Something you did that really stuck out was the lines. How they're really messy most of the time but when detail is necessary you tighten them up. Like the polar bear- his back doesn't have lines, the white just spreads out, there are lines on his legs, and they're really messy and unclear, but his face has really clean lines (especially around the mouth), and it makes an amazing contrast that just works really well.

What I learn from drawing this red panda is they share so much similarity with husky, haha. (face design)

Oh, colour is interesting, nonetheless.
Lio suggestion: I would have some sea animals alongside of the god-like character to tell where he from. A lio effect at where the baby touches the owl's beak would emphasize the importance of the contact, too

Haha.. the owl is abit too stylized compared to others, haha.
And the fire did remind me of Balrog too, haha.. But I didn't think of it when I was drawing. Only after that then I realized the similarity.
The red cap guy.. my idea was he's at another level, probably above everyone. A bit θΆ
θ± feel, so instead of putting more animals that might crowd the scene I just leave it blank... haha... he doesn't attached to anybody. (And I'm lazy to put in more animal actually, ahha)
Yeah, the touch.. I didn't think about that. It might helps actually.
