SketchysketchysketcysketchMight flesh out these designs a bit more later~ Celestia and Luna are just a clusterfuck of races and are based off of some of the NatGeo interpretations of what Americans will look like in 50+ years. I saw the headshots and all the people were so beautiful omg!

I remember seeing articles with similar interpretations as a kid and I agree that the changes that will happen over the next century are pretty amazing.
Such a blending actually makes a lot of sense for Equestrians too. Particularly for the princesses who represent a unity of all races.
But even for the general populace since they've had 1000+ years to intermingle across their country vs. America's meager 250 years.

I am aware its a hairstyle. its a very ugly hairstyle that screams the need for attention. Everyone other than the celebrities who do this, just take daddy's razor and shave half their head to upset their parents; because mommy and daddy won't get them a iphone. I understand the artist is trying to be diverse with the humanization, but don't promote styles that appear for the sake of negativity
