Was out in my little garden, when i noticed the moon and some clouds coming.Took the camera, and tried to capture the brownish halo of the moon through the clouds
it's the best shot, a bit blurry, but i'm quite happy with it.
a little contrast and tone adjustment. took with sigma 70-300mm tele lens

i've attempted a shot or two like this, without the keen effect obviously. its all about the glass in this case. nice composition, one of my favorite subjects.

I had for once seen a moon light landscape that is so enchanting. But I didn't had my tripod and camera. But one day, maybe years ahead I will get go back to that place.

This is a particularly impressive capture. I like the fact that the Moon is only part of the composition, and doesn't dominate the frame. The clouds look a little like nebulae, which is something else that caught my eye. Good work, this is. What was the exposure time for it? I'm not used to seeing that much light at night.

well, it's not a really difficult shooting, but you need to have some time to make some tries first... to set up correctly your exposure, speed and composition...
i've noticed the best results come when the clouds completly go under the moon, so it lower the moon light, and you can get a good harmony between cloud lighting and moon light...

Cheers for the tips, I'll bear that in mind about the position of the clouds in relatio to the Moon. I'm used to taking lots of test shots due to being new with an SLR, hah.

lucky is not the word, since i spent almost 2 hours outside in the cold, taking more than 50 shots to get that special one

I've tried shots of the moon before but even with my strongest moon it's only ever the size of a pinhead when the photo comes out

This is a difficult thing to do well and you managed to do so!
