Description
So many people see the Skull as a symbol of death, yet death is just another part of life.We would find life boring and worhtless without death. Time would just go on and on wasteing away casue there would always be a tomorrow....
Yet we still see the skull as dark and evil, something to fear...
What does a skull mean to you?

This is a trade with *Wen-M of his character Liliha the youngest kid of the skull familly (I think).
From seeing how much wen seems to like Liliha, I guessed that he really cared for her.
So I wanted to draw a more symbolic pic of her.
I dunno if I got it.... Bit I am liknig the way the pic turned out, for now =^_^=

mhmmm...I dunno. I get always the feeling that there is still a part of that person/animal etc. left. Anyway, it's a nice pic and it represents that theme also quiet well I think >x<.

People fear death 'cause they don't know what's goin' to happen to them afterwords. When someone sees the skull, they think of people who have passed on, and that makes 'em confused and scared: what happend to that person and if they'll ever see them again. In this world, the way we see and live could be completely different than in other worlds. So...they're used to living in a body and that's all they see. But what really makes a person is his spirit (or whatever you wanna call it), and that's in any world.

Heh! This girl really reminds me of Chi from Chobits. The wraps, the "fly throught the night" concept, the hair being split in two, even the drawing style is similar. Not that such is a bad thing. Just surprising how two different things can be so similar.
BTW, I love your colouring. Very smooth!

I relish the thought of my own death so I supose it's freedom. Then again...a skull doesn't really mean anything to me, I don;t see it as a symbol of evil or death though it does get used like that a lot.

Skulls dont really remind me of much. You see a skull, its was a person who's dead now. It doesnt have much of a story, unless you know who's skull it was of course. All you can do is wonder really.
Love the way you've done the clouds coming over the border, and the pose and the glowy effect and the colouring job. In fact, i like it all. nice job

This is really pretty. I love the falling feel you get from it. And I've never seen skulls as a bad thing. I've always been fascinated by death. But mostly by the stories that people leave behind. That's why I love exploring cemetaries and abandonded, forgotten places. They've taken on a life of their own and continue to exist even after the rest of the world has forgotten about them.

Skulls to me are symbols of death, but that's me, maybe symbols of power in some situations**If i see a brotha' wearing real skulls as a fashion statement I 'd say that's one bad MO'FOE!!! You know what I mean.**

Nice, very nice. Who would want to live forever? Constantly aging, waiting for your body to fall apart? And what if you were alone? Watching the people you become friends with, the ones you care about, the ones you fall in love with die. Death is a lovely thing in itself.

oh my god...that is amazingly beautiful...it has a lot of impact...death is somehting i unfortunetly think about a lot..not of suicide etc but of what comes after...its frightening...but hopefully it will be a calm. a peace an everlastign peace. again the picture is beautiful and I havent said this for a while and we hav kinda lost contact a bit but i want to say you are beautiful as an inidividual, as an artist and just being you. dont forget that ever.
