No, the fancy images that the top bar uses is all placed with rainmeter (done in photoshop). Although, you could actually create a top bar with such gradient and a litle shadow with emerge, is not a skinning program per-se.

I find the usage of both emerge and rainmeter the perfect combination for my needs. They dont cause any problems with one another

Could you actually do things like check and display the weather condition and show CPU usage in Emerge? Or really emerge is just for task switching and tray icons?

Cpu usage (and Ram) can be displayed in emerge, but you would have to go with something else for the weather.

This is Rainmeter. I dont think windows will let tweak the taskbar that much without nagging once :/

No VS, is windowblinds.
Icons on menu are 16x16px only, i made a while ago.
The menu and the desktop are part of emergeDesktop.
