Description

An NX and Poseiden class defends Rigel from a rogue Xindi attack.

I certainly wish we saw more ship varieties of Starfleet in Enterprise but with it being focused on exploring new space it doesn't make sense to see a ton of of Starfleet ships flying around.

Took a different approach with post processing. Working in after effects more instead of Photoshop.

Render by me with assets from the Star Trek Infinites.

The planet came out fantastic I really love the after effects you do in your work.
There’s a lot of action I. This one but you managed to guide my eye well
I still love the lighting effects you do, especially on the edge of the planet

I don't get the hate for that show. I really liked it. It was an original take on the franchise and the Xindi War was cool. Way better than that CBS Discovery garbage.

Great artowrk, especially the detail on the phaser beam, it's not a mere straight line but instead a non-linear "flow" of energy.

Yeah that's something I wanted to convey, typically I just use a Phaser texture but it can look rather static. This looks all organic and powerful which is what a Phaser should be.Β

This is certainly an impressive bit of handiwork. I especially love how all the details pop out with the depth and sharpness of the color.

Pissed me off that those who call themselves Trekkies didn't even give Star Trek:Enterprise a chance.Β  Ya gotta crawl before you can walk.Β  Storylines gotta have a beginning.

Enterprise had a few problems which is purely down to the direction and writing. You can see the improvements it made in its third/fourth year and it's a real shame CBS didn't market the crap out of it to get viewers back. Β

I agree. I loved the show personally, but a lot of trek fans did give it a good chance and just didn't like it. Some of the reasons they didn't do make sense to me. The show reused a lot of stories already told in other ST shows among other little complaints. It did a lot right too though that I rarely see it get credit for, and I loved season 3 with the whole ongoing Xindi mission.

I too loved the series but personally I feel that they should have had the Daedalus Class in the show, even if it was in its prototype stage and maybe as a testbed for future Starfleet Designs. In TOS the Daedalus Class was one of the oldest Starfleet Designs, so I would have though that maybe we could've had a glimpse at the Daedalus class.

Yeah that would have been cool. I never liked how most federation science vessels looked though personally.
