A friend of mine was in the hospital for a rather serious surgical procedure a few months ago.... And as the absolutely horible bastard I am, I went in his first day out of recovery to visit him decked out just like Nurse Joker, hoping to blow his mind in his medicated state.

Me: "Hi....." ~sheepish~

Him: "Man.... these painkillers are awesome. Either that or I'm dead." ~disoriented stare~

Me: "Hmm, well you're in no condition for company yet... So you just go back to sleep and I'll take your temperature. K?"

Him: "K.... Thanks lady." ~zonk~

Everyone else thought it was hysterical.... I was modestly satisfied. The nurses at the station definitely gave me better reactions. Thank god security was understanding. A few days later I was able to come back and he says:

"Man.... I had the weirdest dream a few days ago. I died and Heath Ledger? Was my nurse... like Nurse Joker. It was awesome. Until he took my temperature in my butt."

WHICH of course blew my mind because A) I didn't go anywhere near his ass and there are witnesses to prove it. And B) I didn't even HAVE a thermometer.
