Firefly is one of my favorite shows! I hadn't noticed that, but you're definitely right! I think Inara and Lady Fu Hao could happily share each others clothing

Thanks! I use Photoshop CS2 with a graphics tablet for larger shading (like the skirt folds) and my laptop's track pad to pixel in little details (like the facial features and jewelry)

Ooooh, I see! You used a combination of both, that's an interesting idea I've always used either the mouse, or my tablet... I never thought to use both

Yeah, there are some things that I just can't do one way so I do the other Like I'm terrible at pixel shading so I tend to tablet all of that. But lineart and tiny details look way better sharp so I never use my tablet on them. Part of what I love about dolling is that there's no wrong way to do it

Everybody always makes such gorgeous outfits and I love seeing people's interpretations of the women. I'd do like 5 entries for MDH if they'd let me and if I had the time!

I also like how we're representing the bad ass Asian girls this year too. I think that means we're awesome

I think the dangerous ones are the most fun Inahime sounds like she would've been awesome (I just ran and read up on her ) If I'd done a second entry it would've been Freydis Eiriksdottir. I guess we'll just have to wait until next year though!

ohhh I didn't know that! That's kind of awesome. Though with a pageant like MDH I think someone else could take my first, second, and third choices of women and I'd still find someone I'd love to doll!
