Description
Another one for the Legendary Library contest. This time it's brothers Ink (right) and Dare (left). Not my characters, of course. Dare is a 'Time Ranger' and gifted musician, whilst Ink is something of loner assassin. He also wants to kill Dare (again), and one of the bonus contest prizes is for any Ink/Dare/April combo, so I thought I'd take a stab at it :3

I especially like Ink's expression, and the way Dare's hair came out. Although Dare is too far to the left because I ran out of room on the page >_>

No critique since this is a traditional piece (can't fix it easily) and overall I'm happy with it (minus some minor quibbles, like the gun being kinda short, the colouring on Dare's nose [Augh! Where's the undo button], and Ink's hand is a bit funny).

Inked with 0.05, 0.1 and 0.3 Microns.

Coloured with Copics and a white gel rollerball:

YR20 Yellowish Shade: Base skin
YR00 Powder Pink: Second skintone
YR04 Chrome Orange: Ink's coat trim
YR14 Caramel: Darker shade on Ink's coat trim. Base colour for Dare's hair
Y35 Maize: Ink's hair
R08 Vermillion: Dare's hair, tie
E50 Egg Shell: Gun hilt.
B00 Frost Blue: Ink's eye
YG06 Yellowish Green: Dare's eye
C-1 Cool Gray No. 1: Gun and Dare's shirt
W-1 Warm Gray No. 1: General shadow use. Dare's coat 'feathers'
