Description This is my newest picture, and my absolute favorite to date. It's a direct illustration (not just one having to do with, like "Through The Eyes of Death") for my Runo (RenoXRufus) fanfic, Business As Usual, specifically for "Chapter 6: Corruption". If you're read the fic, you'll get the title and what's going on. If not, you'll just see that a younger, longer-haired Rufus in bandages is about to kiss a slightly shaken younger, scar-less Reno.

If you have read it, you'll also recognize it as the prelude to the least romantic mostly-consensual kiss in fan-literary history!

This picture makes me VERY happy!

If you have any qualms about the fact that I put RenoXRufus when Rufus is so obviously the seme here, then you definitely haven't read BAU.

Reno and Rufus are copyright Square Enix, and are from Final Fantasy VII. I'm just borrowing them.

I've also finished scanning in all of my new PAS pictures, and when I'm done fixing them up in GIMP, I'll post them. Expect a HUGE update in the near future.

You should join, even if it's just so you can give signed comments and collect faves. It's a lot easier to keep track of stories you read with an account. That's why I joined, and then I started writing later.

Thanks! I wouldn't exactly call it "precious", but whatever floats your boat. Like I said, this is not exactly the prelude to a very romantic kiss, per se. The quote at the bottom is from President Shinra, if you haven't read the fic.

Yes, we do need a Runo club! I've actually thought about making one, (It would be ":devCultOfRunoism:") but I already run the ~fujinclub and I don't think I have the time to do another one.

I'm miyamashi there, just like I am here, if you want to read the fic, so as you can understand what the crap I'm rattling on about when I talk about "BAU". (It's here, too, but I like the ff.net version better, as it's all together instead of in individual files, and slightly better formatted) I'll warn you that it's insanely long, but if you want to read it, just go to my account at fanfiction.net/~miyamashi and read White Flag (The prologue, which I wrote WAAAY before) and Business As Usual. They go together.
