I kind of used this as an opportunity to mess around with lighting and more organic backings, although I intentionally made it kind of "flat" to look a bit like a theatre set piece, natch. Also, I love spotlight lighting? What else is new -_-

I dunno why the Sugar Plum Fairy pas de deux felt so right for these two. I guess because it's seasonal, Pam is... pink, and... sugary, and... a fairy, and Lamont... cracks nuts. OK, I'm kidding. I didn't really wanna go for the archetypal Cavalier design you often see in Nutcracker productions, and opted for more of that Duke Albrecht-esque "dark prince" vibe for Lamoan... but kept the classic white ballet tights. I'll just say you're all lucky Pam's sizely ass is covering his package because man have I been WAITING TO draw that my entire l
