Description
It waits in the darkness, hovering from the larger planetary body of which is eons older then itself. The great ring, Halo, awaiting it's masters to one day return and activate so it can fulfill it's purpose...That is, if someone else doesn't find it first.

Working out how to adapt Greg Martin's incredible planet tutorial ( [link] ) took three different attempts before I finally settled on using Illustrator to make the curve of Halo, however, most of the modification followed Greg's tutorial, and the star field followed it completely. Excluding the planet texture, and the nebula which is the Horse Head Nebula, everything else was digitally created over the past several hours in PhotoShop (Minus curve template in Illustrator).
Font from various font sites on the net. Logo developed from basic font.

i love that tutorial by greg, its awesome very helpful. nice space scene. can kinda tell that the ring was brought in >.> im not sure how to fix it but either way its a nice pic
