Description
As I went through the series of fanarts that I did in depicting certain Valkyria Chronicles characters as members of different WW2 factions, I noticed that a couple of designs could see a little bit of improvement as you realize only years later that they were not as good as when you first visualized the concepts. The sadistic Jane Turner is one of them. Meanwhile, I'm glad that Marina Wulfstan (S.A.S.) and Catherine O'Hara (British Airborne) still are perfect as they are and thus will remain untouched.

If you look carefully at the difference between this lineart and the original lineart , it is mostly down to the details. Most noticeably, the trousers have been reworked (pockets are higher and the flap covering the fly is larger), the ammo pouches have now more detailed, I added the very characteristic mesh that covered M1 helmets for most GIs during the Normandy campaign, and I slightly redesigned the BAR's wooden handle. I'm particularly proud of ading the mesh with the help of software now as it was something that I thought to be impossible when I first drew the original sketch by hand some 8 years ago. Nevertheless, Jane is still the same B.A.R. gunner.
