Gintoki and Hijikata from Gintama... looks like they found the entrance to the Alcohol kingdom instead of Sugarland/the Mayonnaise kingdom? XD
This was a trade type thingum I did with my suitemate, where she would write me one-and-a-half gintama fic if I drew this. Am not sure where we got that number from either. :3
Random notes on the pic: It occurs to me that somehow the eyes get larger when I color, compared to the original sketches. Highly aggravating but habitual, I guess. And excuse the half-assed nightscape background--if I didn't put it in, it'd look like they were drinking in a cave. @_@

The thing with Gintoki and Zura is that it's kind of boring to me--rather onesided and focused on Zura's part. Gintoki and Hijikata are almost the same person though, and thus so unbelievably hilarious.
Word to the Katsura and Elizabeth though! And Okita & Kagura, shit they're cute together :3. (And I'm a firm believer that Kondou and Otae should somehow get married XD)

The author himself terms Gintoki's hair as a "natural perm." I for one, consider it hernia inducing because contrary to Hideaki's guide, it's rather difficult to flip properly. BUT, I'm glad you like it!
