Q: What do you think of your clan?

A: Laurel enjoys their clan a lot, but more for the jobs and knowledge it provides than community-based things such as lore or loyalties to authority. One thing they really do enjoy is the youngsters in their clan; teaching them and guiding them makes them feel happy.

Q: What do you think of the Halcyon?

A: While Laurel does despise the Halcyon for the things it's done to them and their family, they need the goldblooded history the clan provides so they can glean as much data as possible from it. In a perfect world, the Halcyon falls out of power and all goldbloods are kept supervised while Laurel gets the information they need. But the world isn't perfect, and the rebellion may well never happen, so Laurie begrudgingly puts their effort into keeping the Halcyon safe and happy.

Q: Who are you loyal to?

A: Above all, Laureldance is dedicated to their research and the search for the truth. Their desire to find out their true origins outweighs Usta, the Halcyon, and even themselves.
