MAGIC

Mara mostly uses wind magic to give her dresses that "flowing in the wind" look. Although she was interested in lightning magic, once she noticed it made her fur all frizzy, she became reluctant to use it.

PAST

As an egg, Mara was left on the doorstep of the Nook. Nothing to keep her warm or safe, it was as if the egg's previous owner really didn't care. When she hatched, Mara had the unfortunate appearance of a spoodle. Other wynglings mocked her, calling her names and constantly bugging her with "neh"s. She went to Alma for assistance. Alma told her to just be herself, and that she was beautiful the way she was. Mara, despite not believing it herself, took it to heart. She learned to sow and made herself many accessories, and especially loved glitter. As she grew up, she got better and better. Other wynglings asked for her to make them accessories, which she was reluctant to but did so, realizing that they were starting to like her. When she was all grown up, she opened her own clothing shop, with her custom-made clothing. No two outfits were truly alike! She hopes to someday expand her horizons outside of Wynsiph, maybe even to Antova.

PERSONALITY

Mara is externally optimistic, and sees the beauty in almost everything. She believes everyone holds beauty. Mara is incredibly creative and is a trendsetter. However, she's also great at hiding her emotions. Internally, she's very self-critical, and is embarrassed about her appearance. Mara will often wear flashy clothing to try to hide this. Even now, if she hears "neh", she'll quickly turn in that direction.
