Well, that's two down... at least three more to go!

The second race of Medan. As far as the social hierarchy goes, they're just below the Areli. Most of them aspire to one day serve the Areli in some way, and those who do hold a place of prestige in elven society.

The ear thing's kinda important in their culture. They love their ears - probably because they're the most obvious thing that sets them apart from the humans. Two of my main elves have altered ears. Rothey's ear was severely damaged as a child - he wears that earpiece to cover it, since otherwise other elves tend to look at him with the same kind of horror and disgust as one might look at someone in the latter stages of leprosy. Raash, meanwhile, wasn't raised in an elven community, so he didn't see any reason why he shouldn't get his ears pierced. He thoroughly enjoys flaunting them around more traditional elves.

Again, practicing rendering old paper in Photoshop for the background. This one doesn't look quite as beat-up as the Areli one, but that's okay.
