Description

Let's say it can count as clouds ^^'... I'm not good in clouds at all. I tried here wax technique to cover white spaces but it my case it didn't work well. Virtuella who inspired me for that did it far better here: www.deviantart.com/virtuella/a… . I really love her result .

Painted with aquarells on 200g/m2 paper A5 size.

But the wax XD. It's so irritating transparent when I used it that I had no idea what I've drawn with it and it doesn't look like anything what would make sense XD. But thankfully colours balance a bit this little wax tragedy ^^'. I must practice it more because the technique is interesting and skilfully used like on your painting can give great results! Or maybe I'll try coloured wax? Or maybe wax pencils not just tealight candle as I did this time? Pencils sounds interesting and a simple cheap set for children should be enough . I must get one soon .

Ah, different opinion, I love the drama in your sky, and the colours that haven't mixed too much so give definition, feels like a storm is heading in. Repeating a hint of the colours in the mountains in magic, very pleasing composition. 😊

Thanks a lot! I didn't really pay attention to dramaturgy concentrating on this what is wrong in my opinion XD. I usually just see only mistakes >___>.

I first paint whole sheet with sky and then when it's dry I paint the mountains what gives the same hint . It's so nice that you noticed it and you like it .

And thank you for sharing your thoughts !

What's wrong with the clouds You complicate to much
If you want nice soft clouds...use a paper tissue and press it on wet paper where you before applied color. Simple as that.

Let me look for some videos

No problem...that way I also learn...by asking questions and by nice people helping me out. Why struggle alone, when there are people who know certain things

If you get stuck...go on YouTube and write keywords like tutorial, or a certain technique...there are more and more artists who help us.

Here's a great channel for this:
www.youtube.com/channel/UC6REX…

There are some free lessons and some are just demos for the paid one.
