The elder thing is amazing, but what really makes this a win for me is your inclusion of the penguins, contrasting the utterly alien with the deformed shadows of something familiar! Fantastically weird!

The Elder Things always seemed such an odd design to me. Not many depictions of them have really satisfied me as far as instilling a sense of awesome terror. This is one of the ones that gets it right. At last, an Elder Thing that seems truly terrifying. Bravo.
