Description This one started as a doodle I did at work.

It's completely done with a normal black ballpoint-pen.

Using that pen is evil, but it teaches you a lot and I like drawing with one from time to time.

Reason for that...you HAVE to do it correctly right from the beginning...it's easy to work with pencils. You make a mistake and erase them away. You can't do that with a ballpoint pen.

Every traditional artist should do it once in a while.
I REALLY need to do it once in a while..I got rusty!

Großartige Linienführung! Ich hÀtte zuviel Bammel davor, gleich mit einem Stift zu zeichnen, dessen Linien man nicht mehr korrigieren kann! Außerdem bin ich nicht gut im Zeichnen von Tieren.

Wow! good job on this! I especially love how the pen strokes emphasize the thick soft fur on the wolf.

It is good practice to draw with pen or at least pencils with no erasers in sight. Pen scares the heck out of me, though. I am totally dependent on my erasers. I usually jump right in with no thoughts to accuracy and then regret it later when I need to fix big chunks of a portrait because the proportions are off.

I know what you mean.
But I see it like that...even if it scares me, at the end it will make me stronger. It teaches you to be sure of lines and thats good.

(And Is tarted with the outer lines and went from there. The eye was first...The funny thing is that I never intended to draw a wolf. *lol* It was just an animal eye and...yeah...lol...there he is. )
