Hm. I may clean up a bunch of sketches and make a Hetalia copybon. Especially now that I'm doing minicomix.I'd redraw the comics, since I hadn't planned on making them comics at first and the story-telling kinda sucks.
Lithuania is really growing on me. He was pretty cool in the 1500 and 1600s. Are his eyes green or blue? Meh, whatevs.
And the Poland Rule. Where the heck is that found? In a treaty somewhere? The Warsaw Pact?
I've been searching for it, but my eyes are weak and can't read text on the interwebs for too long.
Oh yeah, if you dunno, that's England with America.
btw... Is Prussia supposed to be left handed?

God, I love the restraining order line. I also can't stand Russia and Lithuania together mainly because Toris is batshit scared of Ivan.

Lithuania's eyes are green in the manga but were changed to blue in the anime, if you're still wondering.
Anyway, these drawings are lovely! The America/England bit was so cute and it made me laugh when grown up America got all over England like that XD.
And aw, Liet <3. We all know he's badass as well.

know what i don't get about APH?
there aren't many "female" countries.
The only three in the series were Belarus, Hungary and Liechtenstein.

It was probably just easier to show country relationships with guys and avoid the whole "beating up on women" thing. Some of the countries were actually planned as girls and then changed.

This really made me laugh...'so poland got lithuania a restraining order' GENIUS. And I have to agree, I can't stand the RussiaxLithuania pairing.
I've been looking around for the origin of that rule too, and I'm equally mystified. I so wish Himaruya had said something in a side note or something. >_<

The Polish Rule? While I have no idea what the author could have thought about (if you do, please enlighten me ^^!) when he used that line, as a Pole I could say that the origin of it might have been in saying "is this task impossible? then hand it over to the Poles to get it done..."

I would assume it's WWII or later, maybe during or after the cold war. I actually didn't want to do that joke until I read the actual terms, but my sense of humor got the better of me.
