Yeah, I've heard about the infamous Cupcakes. I've seen the reviews, I've read snippets, and now I've seen a freakin' COMIC based on this gornfic atrocity. And apparently I forgot to close my door, because Pinkie Pie saw it too, and now she's sad.You made Pinkie Pie sad. Happy now?
I hate that fic with a fiery, burning passion. Why would anyone who calls him or herself an MLP fan write something something so awful, so completely against the spirit and message of the show? I've given up trying to come up with a reason.

Dunno what Gornfics is -- and frankly, I don't wanna know -- but here's a relative curiosity. Films and such usually depict the human body as containing gallons upon gallons of blood; except for the liquid in question, the same case seems to apply here.

Basically it's this
- Scoots and friends fail flight test
- They get sent to the Factory where the failures are killed and ground into rainbow juice
- Scoots finds out Rainbow Dash is running the whole thing and hates her guts now for failing and wants her dead
- Scoots tries to escape, causing Dash to go nuts
- Scoots fails and presumbaly is murdered by Dash

I read cupcakes and couldn't sleep or look at a cupcake the same way for a while. Why would they do that to Pinkie? Making her cry like that.

I mean people are always like "It's gory but it's well-written!"

All gorefics are stupid and pointless torture porn filled with idiotic plots, plotholes galore, extreme cases of OOC and poor dialogue. End of story.

The PPC stands for "Protectors of Plot Continuum" It's an "organization" and they have these "missions" where they go into bad fanfictions from various fandoms (ie CUPCAKES) and "charge" them for all the bad things the story has done (ie, making a character OOC, grammatical errors, etc). It's technically just a collection of stories, with each "mission" being a different story.

I know I'm crazy, but something tells me Pinkie Pie would find Cupcakes hilarious. Actually, I think this BECAUSE I'm crazy and relate all too well to Pinkie. Hear me out here. Cupcakes is so far removed from the reality of the show as to be utterly absurd, yes? There is no conceivable way that Pinkie Pie would ever do anything that sick, depraved, or cruel, especially to one of her dearest friends. However, Pinkie Pie has been shown to occasionally have a somewhat disturbed sense of humor at times, finding things funny that everypony else finds unsettling.
I'm convinced that if Pinkie read Cupcakes, she'd be laughing her head off with the explanation "I'd NEVER do something like that! This is SO silly!"
Don't get me wrong. I don't like the story either. I find it stupid and pointless. Well written, but stupid and pointless. I just know with Pinkie's twisted sense of humor, she'd probably laugh it off.

Okay, I'll be honest... this story doesn't impress me much, moreover I think it was kinda funny, dark comedy (torturing, cannibalism, guts? Please this's ridiculous xD this story doesn't have any plot). I Don't Know Why I Don't Hate/Love this story, perhaps thanks to the true grimm stories, like Rosemary's Baby, It(Stephen King), Salem's Lot, Agony in Pink, Books of Blood, Dracula(Bram Stoker), Shining or The Call of Cthulhu(H. P. Lovecraft).
Summary: Is it grimdark? Yes. Is it a good grimdark story? Hell No xD!! A plot and ambience in a grimdark story is the most important things.

Hmm... I think you're right, but it(Cupcakes) isn't gross like S.A.M. (this's sick! Damm, first time in my whole life I loathe and despise writer) or sad like Rainbow Factory (this story has a pretty good plot and is and is much sadder than Cupcakes

Ughbleh, I hage Rainbow Factory more than I hate Cupcakes, so much in fact that I'm writing two brain bleach type stories to remove the shock anyone might have from reading it.
