Description
A simple model based on a proposed caseless ammunition firing pistol designed by the Heckler & Koch (H&K) firearms company dubbed NBW (short for Nahbereichswaffe in German) “close range weapon” in English), some times referred as the g11 PDW. The idea of the pistol came along side of the g11 rifle system which was a unique in design weapons platform designed by H&K, but instead of being a rifle the NBW was meant to be basically a scaled down version of the g11 rifle in a pistol form and to use a similar caseless cartridge the 4.73×25mm PDW, which was very similar to the g11s cartridge the 4.73×33mm but shorter. The NBW was most likely meant to be used as a PDW (personal defense weapon) for vehicle crews or even as a side arm to accompany the larger g11 rifle. The pistol never left the planning phase nor any actual prototypes were ever made, just a wooden mock up and some technical drawings of it exist which lacked certain important detail like what sort of magazine release it would have had there for I had to come up with a magazine retention/releasing mechanism that might have been possible for the pistol so I came up with these plastic retention clips. The lack of available date on the pistols design made modeling the NBW tricky as a had to mash together the pistol with design elements from is one existing blue print and the wooden mock up which radically differed in design from each other so I had to use some artistic freedom when creating this model.

I This model is technically an upgrade of my older g11 pistol that I based solely on the wooden mock up of the NBW/g11 pistol so my original model had no magazine as I had no idea on how it would have functioned but after a while I have learned more about the pistol and have finally turned into something more feasible than just a lump of plastic that my older model was.
