I'm getting a little better at this painting-ish technique.
This is from the Griffin Sketch Page in my scraps, actually. I made it to be a type of evil griffin that a friend of mine wants to write into a story of hers. She sat with me as I drew this and we figured out what she wanted it to look like. And since it turned out especially well, and I've been experimenting with coloring styles and backgrounds... I decided to color it! And sunrises are fun, so there ye go.

The title alone makes this a cool picture. The actual quaility and awesome coloring job...whoa...the Dark Side never looked so good. Plus, sunrises /are/ fun...
