It's the FMA Week ! Done for the prompt on day 2 : Fear.While everybody was fighting for their lives, Mrs. Bradley could do nothing but wait for someone to tell her if her husband and her son were still alive. It certainly has been a greater fear than when this Central soldier had tried to kill her.

I feel much the same way about many of the minor characters, such as the Knox family. Unfortunately, there was only so much Arakawa had time to tell ;m;

Oh, the Knox family! She could have at least make them appear on a little photographe in the last volume... I would have loved to see Dr. Knox happily annoyed by his grand children!

I firmly believe that Dr. Knox remarried his wife and that the family had a happy and successful reconciliation ;M; THAT IS ALL I ASK, ARAKAWA!!!!
FMA's themes just really shine through in a compressed form through the story of Knox and his family: the importance of family, moving through pain and/or hatred instead of letting it chain you down, etc., etc. — I'm very bummed that Knox's son had his lines botched in BH, because he says some really powerful things in the manga.

And maybe... maybe he opened a doctor's practice with his son? Not right after his son became himself a doctor, but later, because his son kept on insisting and because being a doctor was his true vocation.
... and because I want him to complain that corpses were less damn annoying patients (just to scare an actual annoying living patient; he's good at implying scary things :3).
Yes, I think I saw this post on your Tumblr. They could have kept his lines, it wouldn't have taken a lot of screentime...
