A Batman and Joker sketch I did on break at work..I like how it came out; kind of sums them both up pretty well, I think.

A really good shot of what I feel is the theme of the Batman comics. Bats war to win against crime and yet fighting the urge to beat the stuffing out of the Joker once and for all.
Makes me think of the scene where I snapped at the theater while watching "Dark Knight". Bats had just started feeding Joker his fist when I had enough of the stupid people around me for chatting and doing everything but watching the movie.

One of the best of those moments is in "Under the redhood" where Jason has come back, and demands to know WHY T F Batman hasn't killed that crawling peice of slime! would it be too hard?! and batman replies: No, It'd be too damn easy! and it'd basically ruin who and What Batman is, 9Besides; who needs the JLA on his ass?)

Please, don't misunderstand me! I do understand after years of reading classic comics and playing various superhero RPGs. The simplest solution is often not the best, nor is it one someone ought to jump on right away.
