That is so sad. She looks like a cute girl. Why did you put watermelons in this one, too? I know it's supposed to surreal but is there any reason behind it? Beautiful painting. If I had half your talent I'd be ecstatic.

Thanks Violet.
I don't try to understand any painting; I just pretty much let them happen the way they want to happen. Sometimes after the fact the meaning may become clear...

A friend for Oksana Chusovitina.

She's evaluating the distance and visualizing the manoeuvre. Beautiful work, Danny.

"It is a wonderful feeling when I hear the music and know that the audience follows with attention what I do," Ira told World Gymnastics magazine.

Today Ira works as a kindergarten teacher in Moscow. She shares a child with her first husband, and a set of twins with her second (current) husband. ^_^

nice FAN Picture! kidding!

NICE portrait! She is lucky!

I almost never like Fan pictures. But she never got to be a celebrity.

I love your face, the hair (with the simple detail of the hair-band) and the fine anatomical work among which are the heavy-lidded wistful eyes. Your orange-red of the dress is a perfect foil against the beautiful blue sky and light clouds.

I thought, "no way did Danny make an error." When I saw the "white" just over her shoulder. No, it's part of the wire.

I don't identify your watermelons yet, but I do appreciate the one alone in the sky, as if a sun or moon.

A lovely girl. A most attractive painting.

Thanks Bob. Technically, I suppose it's a portrait. I would seriously hang myself before I'd do a fan picture
