In the fourth panel, I don't see Ulquiorra's pupil. Was that deliberate?

Yeah Ulquiorra's a bit checked out right now...best way to draw that in manga is to leave out the pupil because it's hard to get the 'glazed over' look in black and white.

I was thinking that as well no pupils or is that he's got a sort of 'dazed' look? like he's struggling with the choice of whether to stay loyal to Aizen or not, more so now as he litrally has to choose~

Drawing someone without the pupils is the easiest way to get that 'glazed over' look in black and white. The lights are on but Ulquiorra's not home lol
