I love everything that's goin' on with this one. It's so busy with all the different strips sewn on, but without being over the top.
What do you do to the metal to get it to look like that? Is it paint or is it actually corroded with something?

cool, so what exactly were you thinking design wise?
I am at the shop, I was thinking a rubber backing. I can put studs, steel plates, springs, eyelets, grommets, etc. I was thinking about 5cm wide, so two snaps will hold it together. let me know. If you can sketch something up for me that would be even better!

Oo err, I dunno mate, I dont know the first thing about wrist straps. rubber backing sounds good? does that mean rubber on the outside too?. I'm not a fan of big steel plates, but I'm happy with anything else. Although I dont know what grommets are, and springs sound.. odd?
Just keep it simple, your economy stuff would be what I'm after, not (just) cause I'm cheap, but I've got other shit on my wrists and I'm trying to stay uncluttered. I prefer silver over bronze/gold coloured stuff and the eyelets and buttons would b a preference. If that helps?

rubber as the the solid piece to put other things on to, so some would be visible on the outside too. Grommets are two piece eyelets. no steel plates, got it.
I do texture and darken my metals provided they are steel. are you okay with that? by buttons do you mean like a button that slips through a hole to close? like jeans? Or a snap like most of bracelets already have?

Eh hmm, I guess the snap on buttons? although now that I think of it, regular buttons could be pretty interesting, I leave it to your creative process to decide.
So eyelets and grommets are pretty similar? both are good in my book so.
Yeah you can texture away, maybe not too heavy with it though eh? It'll do that to itself over time anyway.
