History:
When Nui's spirit left his body he completely forgotten his past and that he was even dead. Something shiny caught his eye and that when he found a golden mask lying upside down on the ground. Curious he picked it up, turned it over and his life went rushing through his mind. Nui quickly dropped the object and broke down in tears. After he was finished crying he picked up the mask, the back side facing him of course and hide it.
He wanted to forget his past so, he focused his new life on the museum and it worked. The only reason he would remember anything about his past was if someone brought it up or asked him.
The only thing that he wishes to remember from his past is that he use to travel around the world. Learn about different cultures and history. Also of course where he lived and worked in Poke Village. Now it isn't that his life was depressing that he chooses not to remember it, it's the fact that Nui isn't who he once was. Those memories are not his anymore, he doesn't want them to be his. The only thing that he still isn't positive of why he decided to settle in Poke Village, that memory is for some reason still blurry.

He wonders around the museum when there is little people left or when it is closed. He prefers when it's closed.
The golden mask on his necklace is just a replica of the real thing
Spends most of his time in the museum or the library
Gets excited when a new shipment of artifacts are sent to the museum. It's like seeing a kid in a candy store
He sometimes seen watching families, friends, and couples interact with each other. He just stands like a lifeless doll watching and softly cries.
