I like where this story is going, too, and I like the idea of an 'Impostor' spell - heehee, the assistant almost pulled it off! I agree the title is the weakest bit. Hmm, something along the lines of 'Which Witch is Which'? No, perhaps not. You'll have to think about it,Karen.

Yes at this point of the story it's easy to forget the assistant was trained to be a wizard in "her" own right. This story line opens up lots of possibilities I can't do in my other story arcs.

It certainly does. But I foresee that even if the assistant does manage to escape from the wizard, 'she'll' find that 'she' won't be able to change back into a male, at any rate not permanently. In effect she'll become a witch rather than a wizard...
