Paint date: 20070324.It's been a very busy/hectic long hours working week at the office and as a result, lack of sleep and feeling a bit exhausted. Despite all that, managed to watch a few episodes of HYD and now am hooked 'cause that show is evil!
So, here's MatsuJun (or Domyouji Tsukasa), quite a talented actor. I think there may be more to come lol. I don't usually draw 'pretty men', so not used to it! Also, his eyes kind of look a bit too big in here, so let's pretend it's a shoujo style.. (well, pretty men in shoujo style, makes sense..).
Anyway, I'm going to dedicate this to my friend archaenon, thanks for all her contribution in getting me obsessed with the show lol.

I can tell it's him. I really like him. I really liked "hana yori dango" Makino's character is my favorit character from any show. She's so cool. And he has SO much personality in there. That was my first japanese show i ever saw!! Now I'm watching part two since I liked part one so much.
Anyway my point is great person to do a picture of and well done !!!

Oh I'm glad, as I thought didn't quite look like him lol. Yeah, Makino's cool! And Domyouji is not your usual boring goodie goodie main character, so much growth in there

amaaaazingly accurate, you really caught his major features. i can really tell that that's him!
looooove the mixed media and the colours, this is great. there's something about the hair i'm completely mesmerized by.

Thank you! I'm glad you thought the picture looks like him ^^, was a bit worried there as I'm not used to drawing Matsujun at all, still trying to get the hang of it (done four so far now lol). Re the hair, wavy curly hair = my enemy XD as it's so hard to draw and I have no patience hence the big brush 'impression' style

Jun!!! XD he's also in a drama called Gokusen that I am very fond of. The manga is better, but it's worth watching just for him. X3 I really love this painting too Koony-chan, you draw pretty men just as well as you draw everybody else, so fear not.

I can to a startling realization earlier this week. I can't draw pretty women, but I CAN draw pretty men.
That was sort of self-absorbed, sorry about that. However, having drawn pretty men in the past week, I somehow can appreciate this better.
Plus, I really like how you did the lips. The way the colors are mixed is very appealing.
