Description
Paint date: 2004-09-12.Media: calligraphy ink/paint, brush, and imagination.
The idea came from this artwork I painted earlier - [link] (Hat, guitar, sandles.)
and Zodi ~midnightpeppermint 's comment, quote -

The fisherman who uses a guitar to lure the fishes instead of a fishing rod.
He's well known at the dock. (uso desu...)
So I painted this as a belated Birthday gift-art for Zodi

'cause I don't have that many colors and sumi-e fits better with minimalistic colors... plus, the paper is not thick enough... <-rambles on...
Oh that signature thing is a properly carved (spelling?) one, got it done while I was in junior highschool back in Malaysia, for calligraphy writings. I find it a bit too big though

Looks like happy Summer time... I love the jumping fishes, looking like they're enjoying his guitar so much it's made them leap for joy ^_^. He looks so relaxed. Just hope those fishes don't nip at his toes ^_~

The fishes are just too happy to hear Fujikun's songs so they jump up and will be even more happy to be eaten by Fujikun *laughs*

XD sorry, got used to design teachers nagging about it day in and day out. It's the stuff that's empty of content... all the blank stuff. Important consideration in design. Therefore... the non-content space, the negative space. :3
