I've been having trouble drawing most things, particularly humans recently. I figured why not go back to my old koopa roots and see if I've still got that with me? I kinda do-ish??

Anyways I thought "It's Halloween, let's draw Dry Bowser!" and started looking up skull references and shit when I suddenly decided I'd do this instead. I've had this theory for a long time and it's not the first time I've drawn diagrams for it, but I don't think I submitted my older ones... anyways, this is my explanation for how koopas look so different when I draw them - how Bowser and [PlatinumArtist's] Orez for example are a little hunched over, [Bowser2Queen's] Jonny is more upright and Krazy looks like a goddamn Sonic character sorry friends for taking your oc colour schemes lol, I didn't even do them right

Also while looking up shit about turtle anatomy and sexual dimorphism, I learned that female turtles have shorter tails, so I figure maybe they're more prone to a more upright stance compared to males?

Also male turtles have long claws to grasp females while mating. A couple sources also mentioned something about possibly using them to 'stimulate' the female at the same time? So I'm thinking that long claws are also attractive to koopas. They have thick hides and maybe claws are one of the few ways they can properly stimulate otherwise insensitive skin/scales? maybe I should go draw Bowser posing seductively while presenting/flaunting his claws, lmao.
