Page three. The drama starts here.Mr. Doggie musters all the mental strength he can to pull himself together. He will not allow it to happen! Augie will live! That much could be certain, he would make sure of it. That feeling was so powerful, so impossibly strong, that Mr. Doggie couldn't help but express it with a physical motion. He curled his paw into a fist and pounded the arm of his chair, declaring his intentions verbally without remorse.
His heart pounding in his little doggy chest, Augie could sit and listen in the darkness no longer. Tears nearly blinding him he screwed up his eyes and ran to his father's side. He needed him, he needed to make things better, they were going to be together, no matter what!
