Acrylics, 40 x 30 cmThe ref was a section of a photo that I took at the Haikko Manor grounds on Friday.
I'm not that comfortable with acrylics but I felt like I needed some variety.
I took me something like 6-7 hrs over two days to paint.

The reflections in the water are really nice, I like seeing all the different colours in the water and the reflections of the trees themselves. Very nice landscape!

Glad you like it! No, we don't have gum trees in this part of the world.. They're birches, they're really common here.

Can't help you there I'm afraid, I've never ventured out of watercolours, where you start with the palest area first and build up.

Crikey, it's taken me years to figure out one way😂 I've just signed up to a one day portrait drawing day as I'm dreadful at people, it's stressed me enough trying to find a 4B graphite pencil! 😆
