Despite Tumblr is a great site for fandom, blogging, and porn, it has also has become overwhelmingly populated with SJWs (social justice whiners) who are more interested with revenge than equality. You'll be able to spot one when they make moronic posts about the white, straight, cis, male patriarchy and how anyone who falls into that category is the spawn of evil itself, and "check your privilege" is basically the equivalent of "fuck you, you have no right to complain about anything, even when you do have real hardships like everybody else."
Just steer clear of them and Tumblr will be a pleasant experience.

You pretty much summed up my views on the site. I like to go there for the fandom stuff, but lots of people like to talk smack about the majority populations (male/cis/straight/white/so on), just because they happen to be in a group that isn't 'oppressed'. It's really annoying.

Tumblr's brand of whining that seems to be about how even when they are making great strides that all the evil in the world is still oppressing them which is why they aren't getting a bunch of good shit? That is my issue.

Those are the softcore ones. Yeah, that's pretty much them, though add in a whole slew of behaviour you'd expect from a misogynist (likely woman-fearing) manchild (rape threats, whining about how women have it easy, spouting sexist jokes and then wondering why women avoid them like a bad case of gonorrhea in the same line of thinking, etc.) and give them actual political power, and you see why these guys are considered a threat. With every major movement from oppression there will be a counter forming to feebly push it back (movements for equality for the black populace <> KKK, among others). Though, I like to think back on a statement I found online about people like this- oppressors, tyrants, warmongers, etc. are ultimately the roars of a beast that knows it is dying, and it will try to cause as much damage as it can before keeling over. It's pretty inspirational a thing to remember when the weight of the world's problems makes itself known.
Oh no, I meant the bad bronies that are pretty much ruining the title for other male fans. They can keep their pony porn, I don't care really. I just can't stand those that just plaster it everywhere without a care in the world (without proper filters/tags; I'd rather not get a face full of horse vag whenever I'm searching for the odd character reference). I've meant some pretty chill male MLP fans, so I know that they aren't all bad. Just like not all male TF fans are fan-wanking dudebros (but hey, at least our fandom didn't create an ask blog based around the premise of showing rape/molestation as light-hearted fun for the whole family, or proceed to throw a baawwwing fit over Hasbro taking it down and target one of the ladies that helped to get it removed with constant threats *sigh* sorry, had to get that out)

That's sort of true, but I also think there are plenty of MRAs who are genuinely concerned over the disadvantages they have. Don't get me wrong, women have it pretty shitty, especially in the Islamic countries, but there are also some big issues that men face too.

Oh, I'm aware that men face their own problems. It's just that "MRAs" (I'll use this to refer to the guys I've been speaking of) usually try to smother out everyone else's problems but their own perceived ones to always make themselves the victims or to make a point (which is pretty sh*tty, imho; bringing up male rape when a woman speaks of her own experience is just being crappy to both parties) and even outright mock them, especially when it comes to someone bringing up matters of equality (this video's a good example: [link] ).

Pretty much, though it usually seems center around when someone brings up matters of equality, or even something as simple as mentioning that you've been feeling stressed lately and someone telling you "well other people/I have it worse". It doesn't take away how you feel, and now you may be feeling guilty for even speaking about it (and I know that some people may not mean any harm, but it still hurts to be silenced when you're pain is compared with others and in effect muffling your voice).
